Why EPIC4?

When I had the opportunity to work with my friends and colleagues to create EPIC4, I jumped on it! For a long time, I recognized that the process by which dental specialty practices are created, developed, and transitioned has changed. The paradigm has shifted. Therefore, the founders of EPIC4 created the first-ever Specialty Partnership Organization (SPO) that is doctor-owned, doctor- centered, and where partner doctors have equity. As an experienced orthodontist in the sunset of my career, I realized that EPIC4 will have the opportunity to make a difference in the personal and professional lives of all specialists in the different phases of their career--new graduate, novice, experienced, or retiring doctor. My vision is that EPIC4 will allow me to leave a legacy for my patients, team, community and our profession.

Fun Fact

I have always been a hands on, roll up your sleeves, and get your hands dirty kind of guy. Before I went to college, I worked for 8 years building high rise condominiums and custom homes as a union concrete finisher and general contractor. I poured and finished the concrete floor in my Sebring, FL orthodontic office! Other fun facts: I coached high school football for 6 years; I am always looking for a new pair of cowboy boots; and I am ready to lace up my skates and play ice hockey on a moment's notice.
