Dr. Chad was born in Ravenna, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree (BA), from Hiram College and completed his dental degree (DDS) and orthodontic training (certificate and Master’s Degree) at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Chad has been in private practice since 2004 and finds developing relationships with his patients and parents on their smile journey most rewarding. Dr. Chad enjoys giving back including time spent volunteering at Akron Children’s Hospitals’ Craniofacial Center and with the Give Kids a Smile Program. Dr. Chad has served as a part-time associate clinical professor at The Ohio State University Division of Orthodontics as well as written and lectured on both professional (dental/orthodontic) and personal topics (educational experience and cancer journey).
Dr. Chad is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and member of the College of Diplomats, as well as an active member in many professional organizations such as the AAO, GLAO, SAO, OAO, GAO, CSO, ADA, ODA, and MCDS. He is a past President of the Cleveland Society of Orthodontists and former member of the Schulman Study Group.
Dr. Chad has been married to Jennifer for over 20 years; they met at Hiram College and have two children. Faith is a senior majoring in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Tennessee, while Lance is a high school senior, lacrosse player, Eagle Scout, and district qualifying diver. Dr. Chad stays active with family walks and hikes with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Earl, and supports organizations like Stewart’s Caring Place.
